sUPPORTING
CLIMATE SCIENCE

Inaccessible until now, our journey will pass through 1,200km of the Ronne Ice shelf, one of the most crucial areas for climate research and understanding impacts of global warming.

To help pioneer a sustainable future, we will work with Dr Wolfgang Ruck of the University of Canterbury, the the world’s foremost expert of sea ice. We will collect project-based data that helps to better understand Antarctica’s changing climate and its effect on the world. This includes:

  • Barometric Pressure Readings

  • Temperature

  • Precipitation, Moisture and Wind § Ice Shelf Surface Measurements § Snow Carbon
